Some athletes practice yoga, yogis never practice sports

It is known that some top-performance, champion sportsmen have enthusiastically and perseverantly chosen to practise techniques that are specific to the Hatha Yoga system precisely to achieve astonishing sports performance.

Hatha Yoga is that specific branch of the ancient system of Yoga, that involves performing special body postures (asana in Sanskrit), that have complex beneficial effects, as well as deep relaxation (shavasana in Sanskrit), and the control and rhythm of the subtle breaths through the process of conscious breathing (pranayama in Sanskrit), fundamental procedures of purification of the physical body and the consciousness (kriya in Sanskrit), as well as techniques of concentration of the attention, of the consciousness (dhyana in Sanskrit), by selective training of the attention and of the often unsuspected, mysterious resources of the consciousness.

No famous athlete has ever been known to match even 12% of what an advanced yogi who has already activated paranormal abilities, called siddhi-s, can easily achieve.

The Sanskrit term siddhi means perfect godly power, extraordinary spiritual achievement, spiritual success, supernatural power that gradually awakens in the inner universe of attentive, persevering, lucid and dedicated yoga practitioners through consistent, systematic practice of bodily postures (asana in Sanskrit), the practice of profound yogic meditation (dhyana in Sanskrit), the firm, constant focus of the consciousness, i.e. through the complete concentration of the consciousness (dharana in Sanskrit), or even through the enthusiastic performance and completion of a constant, disciplined and appropriate effort (tapas in Sanskrit).

At present, there is not a single sports champion or performance athlete who has been able to achieve at least 5%, with great ease, of everything that a yogi who has transformed to an optimal level can achieve.

Conclusive proof of yoga’s superiority: Egely device test

A yogi, even a beginner, is able to have a much better performance when he tests his paranormal, bio-energetic influencing ability with the special Egely device, compared to the usually insignificant results that a great sports champion with the same device.

This special device, the “Egely Wheel”, has been designed to accurately highlight the existence of the personal vital bioenergetic field of both men and women. This device is sensitive enough to react immediately to the bio-psychic fluids that can be manifested and focused at will, so that it becomes possible to trigger intense subtle energy vortices – either solar, Yang (+) or lunar, Yin (-). The device is also able to highlight the gradual triggering and manifestation of amazing subtle processes that are defined by parapsychology researchers as clear telekinesis phenomena.

The Hungarian engineer, György Egely (b. 1950) invented the Egely device for simple and effective testing of the state of activation of the subtle vital-emotional field, pranamaya kosha, also called the bioenergetic sheath, or the etheric body of the human being. This brilliant device directly proves the existence of the subtle sheaths, or koshas, that are invisible to the eye of the ordinary human being.

The fact that many performance athletes do not achieve significant results when testing with the Egely device, unlike yoga practitioners, is significant and edifying, because a conclusive comparison can be made between performance sports training and attentive, conscious and systematic yoga practice.

If you don’t know there is a better option, you can’t compare

The obvious primitivism of sports training instead of the systematic practice of yoga is not noticed by ordinary, superficial human beings, precisely because they do not really have an adequate element of comparison.

When a human being feeds only on scraps that are incompatible with proper nutrition, they have no idea that there are healthy nutritious foods, such as natural honey, for example. Such a human being considers that the unsuitable scraps that they use as a main food are the “best” food. This is the paradox of the unconditional absence of a clearly superior element that can make a wonderful comparison possible.

The following is a little story with a twist. “God came to Adam holding Eve by the hand and then He said to Adam, ‘Adam, please choose now!’. Adam choses Eve, but then he had no other alternative, because Eve was his only existing option.

A human being who has no idea that Hatha Yoga exists will choose to do sport and only sport all their life. An advanced yogi will never choose to do any performance sport. Even if they were forced to, an advanced yogi will firmly and categorically refuse to do any performance sport.
